I wanted to try and create an image of the Pleiades that I don't often see. A version that really allows you to zoom in and see the wispy detail of the nebulosity present in this object. Everyone seems to focus on getting the best blue out of their Pleiades image. I wanted to see what detail you can get using a Celestron EdgeHD8 at F10 in a 6-panel mosaic imaged for 90 hours with no filter in Bortle 2 skies. Here is the result. Even with a 6-panel mosaic is feels a bit tight but zoom into this image and look at the detail in the nebulosity. It's not perfect but I really like the results, and I hope you do as well.
