SNR G132.7+01.3 (also called HB 3) is a large evolved supernova remnant in Cassiopeia beside the W3 star-forming complex near the Heart Nebula. This remnant combines a filamentary optical / radio shell with a hot, centrally concentrated X-ray emission. It is approximately 6500 LYs away from us with an angular size of 90 x 123 arcminutes. A recent optical study (2022) pegs its age at about 51,000 years. The same study shows it has significant SII emission as well as Ha and OIII emissions.
A mask was necessary to prevent the Fish Head Nebula from over-stretching. The SNR could have been framed better by rotating the long edge of the sensor to a vertical orientation. I welcome all comments on how I can improve the image.
