M63 - Sunflower Galaxy
M63 (Sunflower Galaxy)

I could not get as much time on the Sunflower Galaxy as I wanted to because I am swapping out my OSC imaging train for a mono setup. So, I decided to process the data I had collected to date. The final image turned out better than I thought it would. Once M63 spends more time in my sky again I am going to take another shot at it with the LRGB filters and 20 hours of exposure. It will be an interesting experiment to see how that image compares to this one. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy a slightly shortened image of the Sunflower Galaxy.
